Bijou Xochi (bee-joo
zo-chee) has
been painting the sensuous, the playful and the soulful for over fifteen
years under a different identity. Only recently has this new work pushed through, emerging as explicit voluptuous
depictions of human sexuality and pleasure, invoking and exalting the
creaturely ecstasy of our most basic animal desires. Inspired by the
essential power of lust, the creative energy exchange of merging and the
excellent wisdom of the human body, she aims to celebrate the inherent
beauty and hidden power of sexual appetite.
